Feedstocks

The Port of Antwerp is the main junction of West European pipelines with more than half the industrial traffic in and around the port flowing through these lines.
Plants on both the Left and Right Banks are connected to the network via five pipeline tunnels running beneath the River Schelde.

A comprehensive range of industrial gases and pipeline corridors supplying basic feedstock chemicals is available on the INEOS site:

Pipelines for ethylene, propylene, nitrogen, oxygen and natural gas.

Storage tank capacity for raw materials such as ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, butadiene,
styrene, acrylonitrile, vinyl acetate monomer, acetic acid and various alcohols.

Intermediates - ethylene glycol and glycol ethers. Polymers and finished products - LDPE, EVOH, acetate esters, ethylidene-norbornene, hydroxy-ethylcellulose, silicone fluids and polyalkylene glycols and superabsorbant polymers.

INEOS also has extensive experience with successful ethoxylation reactions based on ethylene oxide, a key raw material produced on-site.
